Private Equity Co-Investment
Introduction
Private Equity Co-Investment (PECO) offers a unique partnership approach providing investors with an opportunity to co-invest with many leading private equity firms in small to mid-level business transactions.
Utilizing our proprietary access network, PECO offers prescreened, vetted and approved investment opportunities. Access to deals sponsored by more than 50 private equity firms in a wide range of business sectors gives our clients an opportunity to construct a customized portfolio. Most deals range from $25-$500 million, with co-investment opportunities of $1-$20 million per transaction.
We take a “pledge fund” approach to investing. Our clients only write a check on each occasion that they actually select an investment, thus avoiding idle cash that often sits in committed funds and dilutes returns. Clients have an opportunity to review each deal to determine if a presented deal fits with their specific investment criteria.
PECO is a Delaware, LLC, organized by Richard B. Price, the founder of R.B. Price & Company, Inc. (www.rbprice.com), a professional service provider that combines executive search expertise with private equity financing to create “backable CEO” deals. With over 30 years of experience, Dick has created numerous investment opportunities for private equity firms, hedge funds and executive level talent. Joining Dick as a founder and Principal is Patrick H. Dudasik, former COO of Calamos Asset Management. Additional non-executive co-founders are Gerald O'Dwyer, founder and CEO of Blackmore Partners LLC and B. Graeme Frazier IV, founder and President of Private Capital Research LLC.
